I walk through this world
all closed up inside.
With pain in my heart,
and fear in my mind.
I long for a love,
I'm not sure I can find.
I open myself and take a big chance,
for the fear's not too big and I must take a stance.
If I look for love and it finds me, fine.
but I seem to get hurt, time after time.
Cause I'm only human,
that's all I can be.
For the love of heartbreak,
please set me free.
