This looks interesting. I get a feeling this is similar to the plot of Phantom of the Opera; talented monster protects and teaches girl, falling for her in an obsessive manner.

However that is by no means a criticism. far from it. I am very font of POTO and, even if my hypothesis is incorrect I shall keep my eye on this fic!
