I like your story,but be careful some of your sentence structure and syntax is confusing. For example: "She was curled up in the living room with a large tome that should have been beyond her understanding,but secretly he was pleased to find he had fathered a complete dunderhead,bur someone quite after his own mind".

Maybe it should have read, She was curled up in the living room with a large tome that should have been beyond her understanding,secretly he was proud to know he had not  fathered a dunderhead,but a child with a mind like his own. 

Please take this as a compliment, I like the story enough to want it to make sense to me, and not quit reading it all together.

Love Severus with children,this is a good read  and I am really enjoying it!

Author's Response: Thank you. I try to be as correct us possible, but I don't have a beta reader and the Apple Pages grammar check is not entirely reliable. And typing with a touchpad makes interesting mistakes. Excuses, I know, but it does affect efficiency.
