Good news! This great story is completed on Ashwinder.

How clever! I never would have thought to make the Dementors slaves of Riddle - had always thought of them too much for him to control. But how delightful to pull Les Mis into it! Next thing you know, Crookshanks will be singing "Mungojerrie and Rumpleteazer" ...

Author's Response: LOL! Thank you! The drift were lied to, led away from Azkaban by a greedy leader and then trapped as opposed to being 'willingly' controlled. I'm so pleased you like the Les Miz insertion; it's my favourite musical. I've been to see it twice in London recently and am a huge fan. warty xxx

Pardon my eenie teensie bit of critism. In the late nineties there was no sudoku craze, yet. That's something of the last couple of years....?
Everything else is briliant as usual. Seeing you've updated makes me smile. :-)

Author's Response: No problem, I encourage feedback. Sudoku was invented in 1979. It may not have been a craze in your neck of the woods until 2005, but for Maudlin who craved anything new and challenging, it was very hot in 1996. He led the way. warty xxx

Ooh, bravo, Pumblechook! What a great performance; and another good chapter. I'm certainly in favor of giving old Riddle the boot. Encore!

Oh, hurrah, I found Pumblechook again! I guess Ashwinder's server change has impeded your updating, but I'm glad I Googled you. Wonderful Christmas present for me, these last two chapters; and you naughty Wartcap you, putting Severus and Hermione in bed fully dressed ... though I did chuckle at the Hello Kitty shirt; I got a Chococat one for Christmas myself.

Excellent work - I can't wait to see your next offering! Kudos!

Author's Response: Thank you! I applaud your tenacity! The queue at Sh is about 4 weeks wait presently, so three chapters are in queue there. I post here, on OWL and The Petulant Poetess - usually in that order. Ch16 is just going through the beta and will be on here later tonight, probably about midnight GMT. Cheers, warty xxx

??Hufflepuff?s cup, do you have it??

?Well, yes.? Luna nodded. ?We use it as a doorstop.?

Bwahahahaaaa! This is very cute - although I thought Hermione would never be one to eat and run...or Severus, for that matter. Pumblechook is, obviously. And Myrtle doesn't eat, exactly...

Very cute and funny, Warty. Good job.

Ever sceptical, Severus wasn?t fooled by the commendation; he was waiting for the ?but?.

?But,? Albus said gravely.

Heh! And the chuckles continue. Glad to see Severus and Hermione - and Pumbles and Myrtle - are making progress. Good chapter!

Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked that bit! Cheers! warty xxx

Warty, is this fic now finished? I do hope not - it doesn't give the impression of being complete, even though the story listing says so. But it is a nice tie-in to your 'Twiggy the Bowtruckle' story, which I'll read next. Please consider giving Pumblechook's history a bit more resolution, if you aren't planning it already - this feels more like a transition chapter than a conclusion! Still good, though.

Author's Response: Hi hon, no it's got another 20,000 words to go. Thanks for the heads up, and I'm delighted you enjoyed Twiggy. warty xxx

Well... I just read the whole fic right from the beginning all in one go.

Just wow.

I can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you very much. More will be along shortly. warty xxx

Oh, they finally admitted what Myrtle had realized eons ago. What a lovely kiss - HG/SS I mean! Pumbles and Myrtle, well, their kiss was LOL compelling, if not exactly lovely. I love this story!

I love how this story is told from the eyes of a Dementer. It's so unique. I love reading his perspective on things. Like the "human pre-mating ritual". How hilarious!

I'm always eager to read about what Pumbles will get up to next. Like sucking on the exhaust. You're a genius for coming up with this. I wonder where you get your ideas? Great job, I hope you update again soon!

Fabulously amusing... I absolutely love how you incorporated the motorbike and gave Hermione criminal tendencies. And Pumblechook is a wonderful, one-dementor anti-smoking campaign that makes me thankful I don't smoke. (I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in a kissing scene before...)

Combine all that with a Tori-inspired title and I'm one happy girl.

Ah Hermione and Severus have admitted their feelings for one another at last. It's so sweet. Even Pumbles is getting a bit of hawt action, bless.

Gingivitis is a wondrous gift to share with one?s beloved

*snicker* Love the update--as usual Pumbles POV is lol-funny to read--you have to love his idea of petrol exhuast as heaven. And what shipper of the pairing isn't going to love that kiss?

Author's Response: Thanks, babe. There is art coming for this chapter, be sure to pop back in a couple of days to see if it's posted. warty xxx

Sorry for the double review, but I had to reply... I knew that was the reference... That's why I loved it. It's a great song (fabulous album too)! And now I think I'm going to go listen to it.

I think I adore every word of this, including the chapter titles (especially 'Myrtle's Foolish Granger', which gave me a good giggle). I haven't read a fic that has made me laugh this much for ages. It's a beautiful thing to behold and I'm kicking myself for putting off reading it for so long.

Thanks!

Author's Response: Thank you very much for enjoying at and dropping me a line. My muse for the title you mentioned was a Tori Amos song from her Beekeeper album called 'Martha's Foolish Ginger'. I played it on repeat all the time I wrote the chapters in that section of the story. That song is a close friend to Pumblechook. He likes Tori Amos a lot, actually. Martha's Foolish Ginger Take a walk down memory lane with me Past a watermelon stand on the way Thinking I had everything we'd need on Martha's Foolish Ginger You were late How could I forget what you said- the part about that "Love taking over your life" was not your plan If those harbour lights had just been a half a mile inland who knows what I would have done If those harbour lights had just been a half a mile inland who knows what I would have done Through the cliffs out of the Bay I went From the starboard side I could black my visions and my passions- They keep me awake A familiar voice "Hi. Surprise. I've been searching trying to find you" I couldn't speak my hands reached for Martha's Foolish Ginger We talked until the moon came up About how life without love isn't worth very much Then I played this song "Memories that we have yet" you said "To make like our Burning Bed..." Love, don't mistake that it wasn't safe on Martha's Foolish Ginger.

I'm sorry to see this chapter end. Its such a joy to read with lines like "He pronounced the last word as if it had tasted of lemon rind." And Pumblechook's take on Heaven is a delight. Just a wonderful voice. Happy to see it here. No reason for Pumblechook to be afraid of Azrael;-)

Author's Response: *Hugs* Thanks, babe. Ch13 is finished and awiting art, Ch14 is on the laptop. warty xxx

I'm so glad I discovered this story--I just love your use of language--it's a delight and a hoot--whether its "by a blackwidow's thread" or "a clammy kiss that lingered like a slug trail" or the certain... er expulsion of gas that blew down the greenhouse--to the accompaniment of "Ode to Joy". This is just so funny, and so creative. I'm seriously hooked.

Author's Response: Thanks, hon, it's a great fun piece to write and a welcome break from the current 50,000 word slog I'm writing. *Hugs* warty xxx

Please, please continue this story. I think it is very original and wonderful!

Author's Response: Thanks, Loraine. There's some really nice artwork coming for chapter 11, please check back in a few days and have a look. The artist is just finishing it off and then I'll post it. I'm taking a week off from Pumblechook and will be back with chapter twelve soon afterwards. warty xxx
