Thank you!! Your writing style is very good. You seem to have the natural story tellers gift. There is a career here for you if you find your own stories! Good luck!

I thoroughly enjoyed that 'little' tale. Very nicely written, and the characters were well written. I enjoyed the tension between Harry and Snape - most entertaining!

Lovely story! I enjoyed reading it very much--thank you so much for coming up with your inventive plot and for writing this huge epic. Your writing style is brilliant, and your charactarisations are spot on.

I recently found this story while browsing the WIKTT Archives. I have truly enjoyed it. I laughed when, even though DH had not been published, you found good reason to involve a tent!

I gotta admit, this is really good. I'll be bone honest and say I've read others I love a lot more, but you kept my attention the entire way. I loved the way you did the characters, especially Tonks cackling, and there was just the right balance between sickly sweet and flaming rows. (Harry Potter is not Harry Potter without a flaming row every few minutes.)
All in all, a job well done.
Also, I like, never review. So sorry if this sucks.

Thanks for this :)
It was super grand to find a SS/HG story that wasn't all sex, and had a believable plot. I seemed to have read them all.
:D

This story is one of the best fanfiction I've read, and I've read a lot. The only thing I would have changed would have been to have the baby be a boy named Sebastian.

All I can say is WOW!
I normally steer clear of any HG/SS stories that are caused by the Weasley twins. I also usually stay away from stories that involve her still being at school but something called me to this story and I have to say I am glad I read it.
This was such an enjoyable well thought out story. I loved how it went along with HBP and showed that story in a different light. You had a few spelling/grammar mistakes but nothing major and definitely nothing that takes away from the story.
I think you did well with keeping the characters true to their personalities. Most HG/SS stories are a little OOC but I can say that this one is the best I've read.
Please keep up the good work. I look forward to reading more of your work.

...
Wow.
Fantastic.
I've been reading this story for the last three days (I started out reading the first four chapters before I checked how long it'd be, and that was probably good because I hardly ever read anything this long online).
This plot ties things in so very nicely. I must say I like it better than JKR's version, because this used things she had already presented, instead of coming up with three thousand info dumps and easy ways out during the last book. The spell to end Voldemort, which was something along the lines of what I always had in mind for his demise, was also much more sensible than that Special Wand she presented.
Though there have been a few spelling mistakes (some chapters more than others), it hasn't been enough to distract from the lovely story. The progression of Hermione and Snape's relationship was fantastic, and they were in character pretty much the whole time. I loved that you developed Hermione's character to a real grown-up (as well as Harry's), instead of having them act like children still. Ron's petulance and inability to accept certain things was also very much in character, while still keeping him likeable.
The funny thing is that your version is also more convincing as far as the Harry/Ginny relationship goes - a relationship I loathe in the books, but which you have managed to get across even though they're far from the main subject in this fic.
I thought the Prince Manor would actually be Dumbeledore's Manor which he'd left behind - the names of the house elves seemed to point that way :) But the fic over all was surprising and has kept me clicking on the next chapter all the time, even though I should have gone to bed.
So, over all, a fantastically wonderful fic. I'm not sure I'll read it again, because it was so long, but I'm very certain I'll keep thinking of it and come back to it as an example of wonderful writing.
So, great job.

Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed my story--I'm blushing! Honestly, I worked very hard to keep the characters in character as much as possible and I love hearing that I managed it pretty well while still entertaining the readers. And I nearly made Prince Manor just the little cottage that Severus received form Dumbledore, it was one a very serious possibility when I wrote Twinkie into the story. By the time the manor house came along, of course I had decided to go the other direction, but it was so fun to come up with junk food for names that I couldn't stop. lol
I'm still amazed at how easy it was to write the story, with all the things we knew were supposed to happen in DH to use as guides. I wish my salable novels were so easy to plot. lol

This is a most excellent story! Thank you so much for writing and I hope you continue in the genre. Just curious, did the house elves come from Dumbledore?
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed my story. I have some other stories in the works, one of which is SS/HG. When I first named he house elves, I was thinking that maybe the property had come from Dumbledore, but then my plans shifted. I can't see why Severus's great-grandfather Prince couldn't have been friends with Dumbledore and of the same mind, however. lol

Fantastic story. One of the better in this fandom. I certainly would enjoy reading more of your work.
Author's Response: Keep an eye out, in February or March I'll probably start posting up another, and I've begun playing with a third one today, though don't count on either being anywhere near as long as this one. lol

I just found your completed story and have been reading for two days now. It's wonderful! There are a couple of things I keep looking for, though -- maybe they'll be answered in the next couple of chapters.... what happened to the Felix Felicis? Who betrayed the Order and told Snake Face what was going on? Can't wait to finish the last chapters!
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed my story. I admit, I think I forgot to mention that the Felix Felicis got passed around at the meeting before the battle began. I'll have to add a sentence or two about that in my rewrite. I was writing so fast and furious to finish this story before DH came out I forgot to include a couple things I had originally intended to do at the end.
