Wow! What a beautiful, poignant story. I very much enjoyed the maturity of this story and the way in which you handled the situation given. It is so nice to see an author take on a subject that is so heart wrenching as loosing a spouse and trying to move one in this way. I believe you did a great job of capturing the heartbreak the he felt while also showing how she supported him, and fell in love with him against her better judgement at the same time. Thank you!

A lovely story - told in a gentle, sensitive way, with not the tiniest bit of schmaltz.
You gave a wonderful warmth and depth to the characters, and captured the bereavement of a loved one in a very realistic way.
You managed to make the sex scenes hot, but emotional - and not the least bit smutty. Don't get me wrong, I like my smut, but this was handled perfectly for the tone of the fic.
The ending was perfect for the tone you set all through the story, and I thank you for sharing this moving piece.

This chapter was heartbreaking - and very close to home for me - I thought you captured the situation very well, particularly the graveside conversation.

Oh, I love this story. I almost turned away when I realized that it was going to be at least a little sad, but I'm so glad that I stayed and read through to the end. You have such a gift! And the ending ... the ending was absolutely perfect. Thank you so very much for sharing your work with us.

This story was absolutely lovely! I read it in one sitting and enjoyed it. You've captured the characters' angst perfectly, and encapsulated all that is love and longing. Excellent work!
