I think his guilt is what gives this little story such power. He's terrified, and he knows it's wrong but he can't stop, and the stakes are so high. Very well done. This could have happened.

Oh, wow! I LOVE this story. I haven't run across many Snape-POV stories that feel authentic to me, but somehow this little story REALLY rings true. Thanks for sharing your talent!
