Wow, am I glad I decided to come and have a poke around here... I have been waiting impatiently for the bods at Ashwinder to get their acts together - it takes soooo long - and with each new chapter I have been sucked further in. I have been deeply confused and deeply moved by this story, it's incredible, and far better than the original. Brava, Ariadne, and thank you.

hmm... nice story but not easy to read because you write like a poet, you put soo much in one word, or a half-sentence!!
I loved it

Just one small criticism. Hermione says Sinestra would have done the arithmancy just as well. Sinestra teaches Astronomy. I believe Vector is the professor you want.

This one was beautifully written story. By far it is the best of the Hermione/Snape fics I've ever read. Congrats on a wonderful story.

I was really impressed with the lyrical quality of this chapter. I have been enthralled with the story so far, racing through each chapter, but the distictive voice that this chapter has made me stop, wanting to thank and congratulate you on a job very well done.
I especially enjoyed reading the part about metaphores, and in the last chapter, the section on the time it takes a tear to evaporate. Fantastic language.
And, pheonix's eating fireflies - creative!

I've been wanting to read a story like this for awhile! One that picks up exactly where HBP left off, with Snape being good.....(sorry, I'm assuming Severus is good...let me not get my hopes up!) and with a plus of having one of my favorite pairings (SS/HG, DM/GW)in the mix! So, yei for you marvelous creature who's thought of it!!

After all the wonderful reviews, I was honestly disappointed. It is a beautiful story, but not well written. It is impossible to understand if you do not go back and re-read several times. That does not make a good story; it makes a poorly written story. I have lost interest so many times and have struggled through hoping it will get better; less vague, cryptic, and fragmented. I'm sad to say it hasn't.
