Be sure to catch A Discovery of Witches when it premiers on tv and pick up copies of the All Souls Trilogy by Deborah Harkenss.
In celebration of one of my favorite book series (A Discovery of Witches/All Souls Trilogy) being turned into a TV series, how does everyone feel about a writing contest? I have a bunch of signed books and some swag that need to Leave my House for the prize. This contest will be a little different than others we’ve run. This time, I am providing several quotations to use for writing prompts. All of the prompts are from the All Souls Trilogy. In keeping with the theme, your story is due on Samhain. As usual, the voting will be BLIND and will take place over a week. There is no word count minimum, but please tell a complete story. Fic or Original Work is acceptable. Send all entries to me at firstname.lastname@example.org Title: Author: Summary: Rating: Prompt: To learn more about the All Souls Trilogy and the author, Deborah Harkness, visit http://deborahharkness.com. This contest is in no way associated with Deborah Harkness, her publishers, Bad Wolf, Yahoo, Facebook, or Live Journal.
