Lovely... I wish you had hinted at who he lost, but still, it was really lovely.

Author's Response: It was more about the feelings and the comfort... the loss. :) And it let's you put yourself and whatever loss you want to into the story.

I think it's just after Lucius or Draco has been kissed by Dementor. First one was his best friend- or so I think, and second- he always was after him. Just my guess. And it's really sad. What kind of loss you imagined when you were writing this?

Author's Response: I hadn't picked one. My friend had lost a family member, and I wanted to comfort her. So I wrote this. Snape's loss could have been one of any. I specifically chose not to be specific so that this piece could speak to anyone who had suffered a loss, either directly or indirectly. Thanks for reviewing! I didn't know people still read my stories!

Beautiful and powerful.

BTW, what is going on with Bambu? Is she okay?
Corazon

Author's Response: Thank you for reading & reviewing. Bambu is fine, however she has suffered a loss of a family member and is very sad right now. I wanted to comfort her and let her know that I (among others) were there for her when she needed me (us)... ~minuet99

I wonder what he was so heartbroken over? Great description of his emotions.

Author's Response: I purposely left it ambiguous. I wanted the reader to be able to substitute whatever personal loss they could relate to, and feel his pain innately, if that makes any sense. I felt defining it would be too limiting. Thank you very much for reading and reviewing!
