I love it so far! I love the fact that this is exactly how I think Snape would react, whereas in other fics he would just immediately fall in love with her. It's great! I can't wait for the update!

Though I'm not a great one for Mariage Law fics, I'm finding this one very readable, and am looking forward to the next update (and the next, and the next...)
I loved when Snape was judging her "lack" of sexuality - under the circumstances, and with his "charming" seduction ...Hello? Pot, meet kettle!
Anyway, the small spark of tenderness that appeared in this chapter was believable (they're not going to suddenly find each other irresistible) and Hermione, though she found it more enjoyable, didn't finish, which adds another touch of realism, so I'm thinking this may be a marriage fic I'll actually enjoy without having to roll my eyes at times and mutter "oh brother... as if!"
I have actually read a few that appealed to me, but I must admit they've been few and far between - not criticising the writing, it's just a premis that often irks me - but wouldn't the world be a boring place if everyone liked the same thing?
Anyways... looking forward to the next chapter!

It's too bad we don't know upfront why Severus and Hermione had to get married to each other. I know with other MLC's they did so to protect Hermione, but I'm not one to assume.

I know it may be a little concise, but in the first or second chapter it is stated that the ministry arranges the marriage for those purebloods who are the last in their familial line (for preservation purposes). Those people are not given a choice in who they would marry, the Ministry chooses at "random" --so it was simply "chance" that Severus and Hermione were paired together. :] Thanks for reading and reviewing!
