second drabble in the Phoenix Rising series

Severus Snape was sitting in the protected study of Grimmauld Place discussing his secret assignment. Snape portrayed his cool exterior but he was inwardly disturbed. A spy for the order needed his wits about him at all times. It could mean danger even death if he even slipped once. However the fates were mocking him once again with the arrival of the only thing that could distract him: Hermione Granger. It was obvious to him that he was damned for sure now he would be killed or driven to madness from his desire for Hermione then killed. Damn the universe.
